IPC Roadmap 2005 Outlook Update
Wednesday, June 16, 2004
10:00 am - 11:00 am (CT)

In this era of global competitiveness, companies are facing increasing pressure to cut cost and continue to produce innovative products. This market pressure is forcing people to take an introspective look at capabilities, business strategies, technology needs and their company's competitive posture in the world market. One approach to planning and staying ahead is roadmapping. The IPC has published the National Technology Roadmap for the Interconnect Industry since 1993. The next roadmap is scheduled to be released to the industry at APEX/EXPO/Designers Summit 2005 in Anaheim. The roadmapping team is currently developing the roadmap narrative. This webcast will give participants a chance to preview the topics that the team is considering for the 2005 roadmap and, give input on topics of technology that they would like to see covered in the roadmap.
