Mornin' Joe!

I just switched from Kyzen XJN to 4512P. We got a new batch cleaner (Aqueous
Technologies SMT800) that replaced the Electrovert MCS-1000 that we had.

The MCS had some pretty powerful pumps which provided quite a bit of
impingment forces which the XJN needed to clean well. The 4512P provides for more
solvency which doesn't require the high horsepower pumps to clean well. We clean
Indium SMQ92J no-clean residues and it does a good job.

As for the Armakleen, I was told they were using it for a time here before I
started in the MCS-1000, and it left this sodium bicarbonate like residue all
over the machine. There was still some inside the machine even today. I was
told that because of the residue, the pump seals were destroyed and had to be
replaced. That's when they switched to the Kyzen XJN here...don't know if the
Armakleen E-2003 still does the same thing.
