Take a look at this software tool that helps with Design for
Manufacture. After showing to a few people in the industry, the response
is positive, so I thought it could be of interest to group members.

You just put in lead length, pitch, pad diameter & pin diameter and it
reports if there will be a bridging problem. Your designers can see what
can be done to help during manufacture. Or you can make decisions when
quoting for manufacturing new products.

N.B. You need Flash v7 to use it. (older versions will not display or
operate properly - there's a link on the page if you need to download
the latest version).

Send me feedback to help understand the accuracy and usefulness, or just
