Meeting of the Orange County, CA chapter of the IPC Designers Council
Date: Tuesday, June 29th, 2004
Time: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Where: Mentor Graphics Irvine-Spectrum office
Topic:
Circuit design solutions using Flexible and Rigid-flex interconnects
Everything you always wanted to know about the use of flexible circuitry,
but were afraid to ask!
A panel of experts will share their experiences on the use of flexible and
rigid-flex circuitry to enhance your PCB design knowledge beyond your
"rigid" thinking.
Presented by:
Shawn Arnold - PCB Designer - High-Speed-Solutions & Design Inc.
Tom Dougherty, David Nelson & Ralph Florez - Flex-Link Products, Inc.
Expand your toolbox of circuit design solutions by learning more about being
"flexible" in your approach to interconnecting multiple circuit boards.
With today's high-speed design requirements and impedance matching
challenges, the use of flex and rigid-flex technologies allow the designer
to eliminate connectors and create a three dimensional solution to your
circuit packaging.
The team from Flex-Link Products will discuss various solutions of creative
interconnection through the use of Polyimide-based flexible circuits. Mr.
Arnold will share the new process of HVRFlex, a low-cost alternative method
of rigid-flex using only FR-4 materials. The panel will answer your
specific questions and update us on the technical advances in the use of
these enabling technologies.
Reserve a space on your calendar for Tuesday, June 29th from 11:30 to 1:30
