I am not sure, but you might have your legal guys look at regulations. Here
in Europe you have to meet CE (Our version of UL), and I think you would
fail to comply by the use of an adapter.
Take a look at Apple Mac, and they supply the correct cord according to the
country to which it is being delivered. However, you can buy an adapter kit
- as I have done that!
