Hi Joe,

You asked, "Can anyone recommend a southern California consultant that
could help us transition to another cleaning agent?" I recommend to you
Ed Popelarski of QTA Machine. Ed is in Southern California, and, is an
industry consultant with many years of process and equipment experience.
More specifically for your needs, he has worked with various cleaning
suppliers in a multitude of capacities. Ed is based in Mission Viejo,
CA and can be reached at 949-581-660.

Best Regards,

Shean Dalton

                        Subject: [TN] Replacement for Ecosolve
Saponifier

                        Good Morning,

Another potential line stopper has appeared on
the horizon. My production
supervisor notified me that the Ecosolve
saponifier made by AlphaMetals is
no longer available. We have a WESTEK in-line
cleaner that uses Ecosolve to
clean RMA flux residue from boards. We are also
located in Southern
California so we have stringent drainage and air
quality (VOC emission)
rules that need to be considered.

Does anyone have any excess EcoSolve they would
like to sell to get us
                        through this transition?

Has anyone faced this same problem and switched
from EcoSolve to another
aqueous cleaner to remove RMA flux residue and
no clean?

                        AlphaMetal's is recommending their ARMAKLEEN
E-2003 as a replacement for
Ecosolve. Anyone out there using ARMAKLEEN that
would like to comment on
its performance on RMA (and no-clean)?

Can anyone recommend a southern California
consultant that could help us
                        transition to another cleaning agent?

                        thanks
                        joe
