We use a datalogger that is wireless for keeping track of humidity and temp
in our testing area. You can set it and forget it with the parts I guess
till you use them. We buy them from Cole-Parmer Instruments. They are a
little pricey about 200 bucks a pieces and you need to buy the software and
cable to go with them for downloading onto your computer. It keeps a
running data set for whatever you sent the data points at. If you set it
for a data point every 30 minutes you can keep a record for about 240 days.
It might be a little overkill for you, but it prints out a very nice
record of the temp and humidity for the time you have it activated. You
can then reset it and start all over again.

Hi All,

Customers are getting more concerned with the need to bake components -
some
even want all MSD material to be baked whether the humidity card indicates
otherwise ot not. We currently bake as requested however but it seems that
just baking for the required temp/time and logging in a register is not
good
enough. Does anyone use a good traceable method which cannot be disputed by
customers e.g. time/temp stickers whch can placed in trays?

TIA
Grant
