Yeah agree.
IPC 4562 assumes a density of 8.93 g/cm3 (5.16 oz/in3)

The figures were taken from IPC 4562 just to highlight the number of
different units we still use.

You cannot determine foil thickness from its weight per area, because of the
significant variation in the density of electrodeposited copper.
