There exist Universal Adapter kits--I have one, bought it in flight to Europe
some time ago.
Brian, Actually, quite a number of products can be plugged into both 110 and
220 V power sources, e.g., all laptops have internal transformers to my
knowledge, and many hairdryers and similar products.
