Hi All

We have a customer that would like us to remove the Manufacture Logos and
part#s from 4 parts on their assemblies (PLCCs and QFPs).

Acetone and Alcohol were both tried with zero deterioration of the markings.
I suspect the parts have been Laser Marked.
What would you suggest
Mechanical Abrasion?
Chemical What type?
marking Laser (we have access to one)?
Volumes would be about 2000 ICs/month

This would likely have to be done after placement (QA's request).

Thanks for any input
