Well from what I figure from reading all the notes you have already
received the answer.
The resistor manufacturers are probably OK, YET
You are going to have to change your analytical technique to find out if
the terminals or components have any lead that could go into solder-joints
or onto the next level assembly. Other than your technique other techniques
that evaluate the entire component as an entire entity can not be utilized.
