Pix taken March 2001 at Old Tucson, a wild west movie set outside Tucson AZ. Lots of John Wayne movies and Little House on the Prairie shows shot there, among other movies/shows.
The beard was real, as was the body (unfortunately). Clothes and set were "rented: for the pix. First time I'd grown a beard since I stayed over night at the South Pole one year. I decided to remove the beard after the little kids in the airport were so sure I was Santa. Of course, I wouldn't have done anything to encourage that idea.

Jack Crawford sent me that picture of him to post when I first started the
page, and he told me to title it; Mountain Jack", so I did.
The big question is; when and where did Jack have that picture taken of
himself?
