I suppose that it is possible that a strong radiation source could corrupt flash programmable memory devices such as these, but I've never heard of this before. I would contact the device manufacturers to determine their sensitivity to this type of stimulus.

Dear Technetters,

We are located in Singapore. We recently sent a prototype to USA, and found that the codes programed inside the MCU and CPLD were corrupted. Our USA
counterpart had to re-download the codes.

Has anyone ever encountered such a occurence. Is it possible that the X-ray could corrupt the codes. Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
SJ Liew
