hi steve well all the guesses were blaming the board, dendrites, aligmnet,
reisn starvation  , but look at the chip in smoking 2 about half way up the
crack on the chip you will see a black burn mark, the chip failed, not the
board, as the chip cracked its usualy a sign it got real hot inside. seen it
many times. if you pull the chip off i bet there is a burn mark under the
chip where it got hot. well thats my guess anyway.

   ps they still dont get heavy copper do they i got three emails saying
heavy copper is a dream and does not exist.
