 MEETING REMINDER FOR THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND CHAPTER OF THE IPC DESIGNERS 
COUNCIL

Topic: Part 2- Lead Free Electronic Manufacturing and Design
This month we continue our Lead Free series with panel speakers representing 
industry suppliers MacDermid Inc., Waterbury Ct and Cookson Electronics, 
Foxborough, Ma. The speakers will be discussing lead free issues related to surface 
finishes for both boards and component leads. Part 3 will conclude this 
series with a panel representing the component, assembly and fabrication 
industries.  
 
The series is intended for all segments of product development addressing the 
needs of designers, assemblers and fabricators.
 
Speakers: Rich Prendergast, Cookson Electronics and John Swanson, MacDermid.  
 
Host: The meeting will be hosted by MacDermid, Waterbury, Ct. Founded in 1922 
MacDermid has become one of the leading specialty chemical manufacturers in 
the world, serving diverse industries that include industrial finishing, 
electronics, and graphic arts/printing.
