I'm either too young to remember much taping or my memories going already, I
still have a box of tape & pads to touch up those massive artworks for the
20 year old boards that get asked for just after I have thrown them in a
heap to get rid of.

Unfortunately unless we supercede a board with a CAD version, those pesky
sales guys will occasionally sell one thats been obsolete for 10 years & I
need to "fix" the artwork to get it re made.

I taped as a young un, but as soon as I could I use CAD, the only use for
the tape these days seems to be the sales dept wanting it for wall charts.
Of course I wont let them use it for that.
I wonder if I could create some "art" using it? who knows almost anything is
considered art these days.

Our boards get sent overseas if the quantity is big enough & the design is
stable, however IMO the design needs to stay in house, things are never
quite right when we outsource them.
We spend more time in creating an inadequate specification & design rules
for jobs than it takes to create the things in-house, and even then there is
always something that has been missed off & done to the board that makes it
no good, something that would have been seen & picked up easily in-house.

Also I don't like curries, so I'm stopping here. :)

Matthew Lamkin.

No... I meant the place with the big elephants and cows that roam the
streets and the Taj Mahal... that's where the jobs are going...

Just figured I would have to go where the jobs were...

I've only had 6 cups of coffee so far, there's an hour or so to go...
I have a schematic that needs a change...
(Where's my electric eraser... ) lol
