hi,

my economic model is toyota and maybe honda. they are competitive in price, they never stop improving their quality, and their reliability is about as good as it gets. relatively speaking, there is no rework, no repair, and no cost. i'd never buy anything else. so who would by a yugo? i'll tell you who...someone that likes to work on cars.

Professor Pauls,

Please excuse missing the other aasignments, but not all are major requirements for bare boards majors.

To this question, YES.

There is a point that needs qualification, however, for a more complete answer.

If this is a factor (please verify for your students), Who will pay for the extras?

Rework, repair, and reliability are good if you have someone willing to pay for it.

OK class, time for your next assignment. Once again, assume you are in the
process of evaluating the assembly process, either your own or a
subcontractors.
Question: Do you qualify just the base assembly process with no
rework/repair/touch-up operations OR do you include such post-assembly
processes as part of the accept/reject evaluation?
