Enviro Gold 816 is a good inline chemistry and reduces contaminate
levels.

Subject: [TN] Batch Cleaners

Does anyone have any recommendations for batch cleaners?

I need to set up a small specialty cleaning process for a precison
analog card. I have to remove incoming parts contamination (chlorides,
bromides,
sulfates) that our DI water wash process alone cannot remove. These
contaminants are causing leakage resistance failures in a critical part
of the circuit.

Out of three different parts vendors we tested using ion chromatography,
only 1 had a decent level of cleanliness and just barely met
requirements. The lab we used was able to remove the bulk of the parts
contamination with a saponified DI wash.

The part is a $.01 SOT-23 so our vendors are not very motivated to clean
up their act (pun intended). Our current Electovert Aquastorm 100 inline
cleaners cannot handle any chemistry so we're going to try and set up a
saponified cleaning process.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Cheryl
