Firstly, thanks for the picture you emailed me direct, Steve.

What's all the fuss about?

This is done every day!

This is a standard fix when you run out of resistor packs or you have possibly
chosen the wrong value, or the wrong type of termination, or got the wrong parts
delivered.

There isn't a real Tech around that hasn't performed this simple fix numerous times.

The real fun is when you have to do this with a divider network on each line, or
when you have to do something like a series termination with a resistor and
capacitor in series to ground on each line.

Heck, this doesn't even really qualify as rework.
