I believe that Precision resistors are marked with a 4 digit value code as opposed to the normal 3 digit code, less of course the parts are too small for a marking.Yes?

The CM you used should be able to answer your questions. They should have a part bag or reel that could be sent to you or even the packing list that was received with the parts. If the part is marked uniquely you could get the marking and physical dimensions from the data sheet for the resistor also.

We contracted some board assembly out turnkey. Some of the resistors were
to be precision 0.1% and +-25ppm.
However, how do you tell if the correct part was put in?
Can anyone give me some insight on how to verify we received what we
specified in the BOM.
