Dear Techies,
I would like to get an approximation of the cost of various laminates.
To put everything on an 'even keel', I suppose they would all be approx 0.012"-0.015" thick (and std thickness ?? for the flexes), and single-sided.
Does anyone have a cost/inē comparison table between the following substrate materials? And correct designations, where applicable? Have a good source of info on the subject??
1 - Kapton/polyimide flex
2 - BT Epoxy (FR5?)
3 - 'Std' FR4
4 - Paper/epoxy (CEM1, 2?)
5 - Polyester
Even a relative difference between the elements of the list would be instructive.
Thanks
