I have been working on a project to optimize our smt line. One of the
things I wanted to do
is panelize the boards. Because of card edge features the boards would be
rotated
180 deg from each other. I am being told that the Universal GSM line has
intermittent
placement problems populating boards 180 deg from each other. From what I
understand,
the placement problems have been seen trying to place BGAs of fine pitch
parts(<20mil).
We have Universal GSM 4681A pick & place with FlexJet heads, running OS2
operating system,
and Ver 4.5.0 of the GSM software. Has anyone else experienced this or
something similar?
Does anyone know of a fix or work around? Thank you.

Best Regards,
