Hello Technetters:
Looking for experience, comments, pros/cons, etc. on open-tube vs.
closed-tube x-ray systems for pcb inspection - more specifically, bga
soldering. I need to replace closed-tube x-ray machine - tube dead and
manufacturer no longer exists.
I'm leaning toward open-tube, based on some excellent demonstrations at the
APEX show.
Also, my average max board size is 16" x 20".
Call or email me off-line if desired.
Thanks in advance,
Al Kreplick
