That's curious.... I have a copy of IEEStd 315-1975 (ANSII Y32.2-1975)
which says, "Reaffirmed 1993". Company paid good money for it sometime in
2000. You'd think we'd have been told it was replaced....

The specification has been replace by ISA 5.1 1984 and reapproved in
1992. You can purchase it from the above link for $86.00.

I was curious also as soon as I saw your post. I have been working in
component engineering and could use a copy also.
