Attention PCB Designers and Engineers

* PCB Design for RF Applications Seminar*
Hosted by Premier Technology Training, Inc.
*April 2, 2004* at the Techmart, Santa Clara, CA

Instructor: *Andy Kowalewski, Chair of IPC/Designers Council*

This 1-day seminar provides an appreciation of the many major design
issues that need to be considered to be effective in the design of
printed circuit boards for RF applications. Covering a moderate amount
of theory, this seminar is slanted toward real world problems faced by
modern circuit board designers.

The course is designed to address the needs of a moderately experienced
board designer or engineer with little or no experience in RF board
design. It is assumed that the attendee has some knowledge of basic
circuit board design and is familiar with multilayer board technology,
board stackups, and basic placement and routing methodologies.

Andy Kowalewski is a senior engineer with SyChip Inc, a company
specializing in the design, development and production of complex
miniature RF modules for the OEM market. He has a thirty-five year
technical background in electronics, avionics covering HF, VHF and UHF
air-ground-air communications, radio link communications, radar and
navigational aids, and printed circuit board design. He was active in
starting the Designers Council in Australia and is a past President of
the North Texas Chapter of the IPC Designers Council, based in Dallas
Texas. He is currently the Chairman of the IPC Designers Council and has
been a member of the Executive Board and the Education Committee of the
Designers Council since 1995.
