Hi Günter,
Chemically deposited nickel is usually autocatalytic nickel with 3-11% co-deposited phosphorus. It is also called electroless nickel. Less common is autocatalytic nickel with co-deposited boron. Due to the phosphorus (or boron) content, chemically deposited nickel have very different properties compared to electrolytically deposited nickel.
If you search on internet for autocatalytic nickel or electroless nickel and properties, you should find a lot of information, for example see http://www.pfonline.com/articles/pfd0024.html.

Hi all
Are there any differences in the properties of the plating when an Ni plating is chemically deposited or with a galvanic process?
Best regards
Günter
