Polyclad (Cookson) is getting the licensing from GE to make Getek, but it
isn't on line yet. Until they start making what was Getek, I don't think
Polyclad had a PPO/epoxy resin system.
They do (or did?) have a PPE (like former Nelco 6000-21) resin. I believe
that was LD-621. Don't know if it's available still.

The generic reference is to PPO (polyphenylene oxide) Epoxy/Glass
laminate. There are several manufacturers making this type of laminate,
Polyclad and Matsushita are two that come to mind. My doc's on these
materials show Er as [log in to unmask] The curve for frequency is fairly
flat from what I remember
With a high of around 3.8-4.6 at 10GHz.

By the way GeTek is no longer GeTek, GE sold the division off and was
closing the manufacturing plant where it was made. I can't remember who
bought the rights to manufacture the materials.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [TN] IPC-4101 Material

Good day...
Our designers want to use an FR-4 material which is designated as
IPC-4101/25. The /25 material has a permittivity of 4.4, while the
other FR-4 materials (/21and /24) are listed as 5.4. I found out that
GETEK is classified as /25, and was wondering if this is the only /25
material available. Is there a generic (or product) name for the /25
material? The slash sheets in 4101 have a maximum permittivity at 1
Mhz, do the graphs exist that show the Dk at various frequencies?
