Reminds me of having cheap cookware in college.  We would make large
quantities of spaghetti sauce.  We'd throw in all the ingredients and simmer
for a few hours, then eat.  The leftovers were allowed to cool in the pot
before freezing.  Eventually we found that small holes had been eaten in the
side of the pot at the most common fluid level.
