We have a customer with several assemblies that use large Samtec SMT
connectors that we currently have to hand place due to equipment capability.
I'm looking for recommendations of equipment that can handle and place these
connectors, either automated in-line or via some sort of manual operator
assisted alignment. The connectors are up to 150mm long, with some as tall
as 0.900". Since cost is always an issue, I'm looking for solutions that
would minimize the capital costs involved.
