I'ld also look at Struers, I used all three of the major equipment suppliers and really like Struers equipment.

If its not broke why fix it. My 2 cents worth is I have used Buehler
for 20 yrs. I am well pleased with the QUALITY of their grinding/polishing
equipment. Yes, there is others such as Allied High Tech, Struers, and
