Who stands to gain the most by replacing 37% Pb by, say, 32% of a
considerably more expensive metal, with a neat organisation behind them?
Who lobbies the EU the most, with Margot Wallström's crowd of civil
servants as the target, crying lead as a dirty word? Which crowd of EU
MPs etc. publicly admit that an environmental and H&S risk assessment of
lead in solder has never been undertaken because they believed that it
was not worth the funding (i.e., they took it that it was a given that
lead must be bad)? You don't really need me to answer these questions,
do you?
