Okay, I have a "newbie" type of question:

What are the "standard" thicknesses for double-sided boards?

And then the type of questions I ask when it's been a rough week:

Who determines the standard? Has IPC determined a standard?

I would like to know so I can tuck it away in my quickly growing files of pcb flotsam and jetsam...

Have a good one! (Time to call it a day)

James,

This is not a standard thickness if you are taking about a double sided PCB.
However if it is a multilayer and depending on how many layers it has it is
possible to get your required thickness. Most likely if you are talking
double sided than it will either be specially made by a laminate
manufacturer or the PCB fabricator. If the laminator makes it, it might be
expensive depending on the quantity needed.. It might be best to allow the
fabricator to make the material as it should cost less.
