All,

Please forgive me because I asked a similar question in the past, but need
further input. Here are my questions for those who have wave solder process
experience:

* From my observations most wave solder pots for SnPb solder operate with a
temperature as high as 260C, even though the solder is SnPb, not Pb-free.
If you run a wave solder process, what is the temperature of the solder in
your solder pot?

* The industry is converting to lead-free solders for wave soldering,
primarily SnCu or SnAgCu solder alloys. I believe that these lead-free
solders can be used in the same temperature range as SnPb is currently set
at today, with 260C maximum. If you run a wave solder process using
lead-free solder in your pot, what is the temperature of the solder in your
pot?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Best regards,

Doug Romm, MGTS
