Steve- have you used this solder mask on metal surface successfully before?
If applied using your regular process onto FR-4 of the same thickness, will it
survive soldering & cleaning without the snake dance routine?
If so, could a CTE mismatch be breaking the bond of the mask to the metal,
either alone or in combination with other factors contributed by TechNet
readers?
