Good Morning,

There has been a lot of discussion lately about exactly what are GERBER
files.  Everyone seems to have a different idea of what they are and what
they consist of or should contain.

Therefore, will someone please either explain or direct me to a source of
info on exactly what are GERBER files and what do they or should they
generally consist of.  Thanks
