Larry,

I would hesitate to have operators wear copper jewelry while building
hardware, for safety concerns. I heard of an operator who was seriously
injured because some jewelry came in contact with a "discharged" piece
of electronics. In the places I worked at previously, no jewelry could
be worn in the shop.

In addition, the magnetic field from the magnetized hardware could
damage hardware. In a prior life, I've seen magnets wipe out memory
devices.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck.

What are you guys feelings on allowing production people wear the copper
or magnetized bracelets? I'm talking about the ones the are suppose to
help arthritis. Is there any type of ESD issues with these? Any other
concerns with them? thanks, Larry
