What seminar and who said? Nobody regularly participating the 610
committee or those committee leaders should have said anything like
that. 

The committee has been gathering lots of info about LF and that content
is one of the primary drivers of the next Rev; also for J-STD-001D.
Current draft only has a placeholder but planning on major work to
finally build the section at the coming APEX meeting Feb 22-23 in
Anaheim.

I was at a seminar yesterday and the topic was lead free.  The statement

made that the Rev D 610 will not be changed to address the solder joint
criteria for lead free processing.

Jack - is this true?  If so, why?  What is the plan for implementation
