I would say no.  Most solder masks and laminates are highly resistant to
isopropyl.  Part markings or non-epoxy marking inks could be an issue.  How
long is the soak?  Unless it is for hours on end, I would not expect
problems.  I would make sure the alcohol had flashed off and baked off
before the next process step.

Hi,
I happened to observe somebody soaking some assembled boards in isopropyl
alcohol to clean them. I was wondering if this was an acceptable method for
cleaning. I know using alcohol to clean is okay but, I'm not so sure about
actually soaking the whole assembly in an alcohol bath. Any Insight would
be
appreciated. Thanks.
