Don't most ESD chairs have a chain that hangs down to contact the floor
for grounding purposes, or is that only the ones with rubber wheels?

I assume you want the metal of the chair in contact with the floor. You
may be able to use steel gliders on the legs. Most of these attach to
hollow legs with plastic inserts though, insulating the chair. You could
probably wedge a wire between the insert and leg to get continuity. Our
chairs have steel casters.

Hi,

Looking for some ideas on how to prevent deep scratches to our Epoxy ESD
safe floor?  We do not allow chairs with rollers, but I'm thinking this
may
be the only way to prevent the scratches.  This mostly occurs with the
associate sitting on their chair then pulling themselves towards their
work
surface.  Any suggestions for a way to keep chairs without rollers from
digging into the painted floor?
