We have looked at many different PCB finishes for press-fit and found that
all of them can work (immersion Sn, immersion Ag, immersion Au, Cu-OSP,
Electroplated Au).  There can be some variation in the insertion/retention
forces depending on the pin plating and the choice of PCB finish.  Some of
