Ramon,
SIPADs is a great process, but the cost is usually a factor. It usually
cost about $4 per board, but could be lower depending on company.
You may get inconsistent pad volume. Sometimes flux coverage is not enough
and soldering alternative platings will be difficult. Also using BB loaders
is not recommended as tacky flux will cause PWBs to stick together and
double sided can't be done with SIPADS.
Its great way to run prototype, no stencil, no paste, just place components
an reflow.

Technetters:
We are currently looking into SiPad finish on bareboards.
In theory it sounds like it is a very good approach for SMT technology. Does
anyone have any experience with this?
Regards,
Ramon
