Hi All!

I've been asked by one of our sales folks what we are doing to try and
prevent the problem of Tin whiskers from occuring on the products that we
build...apparently he was asked that from a potential customer.

I've been doing some researching and studying the topic through net searches
and whatnot, and found a good paper at:

http://www.calce.umd.edu/lead-free/tin-whiskers/TINWHISKERMITIGATION.pdf

One of the things it said to do was to determine if any of the component
suppliers that you use, are using or considering using Tin finishes.

Does anybody know of a listing somewhere that shows what finishes component
suppliers are using? Or does one have to just call and ask each one?

Appreciate any information...
