Fine until there is a power cut: the ventilation stops, the conveyor
stops, there are flammable goods on the conveyor, the heaters remain hot
enough and BOOOOM! Had this happen at a customers 30 years ago with an
IR fusing oven. Fortunately, the flux had little that was really
volatile, so the explosion was very minor, although half-a-dozen large
multilayer boards rendered their soul. I was forced to provide a NiCd
UPS system for the conveyor and ventilator.
