Steve,
As usual you are the expert. How do you remember where to find all this
stuff?
I need to update your link for the cookson white paper:
http://www.speedlinetech.com/DOCS/White_Papers/EquipmentImpactsofLeadFreeWavesolderingAPEX2003BestUSPaper.pdf
I am planning on replacing the current machine. It would take too many
modifications for lead free.

Hi Tenison!
You have more than just the pot to worry about, pumps, nozzels, ducting
are
things that can get eaten-up as well.
At this past APEX, there was a good paper published called; "Equipment
Impacts of Lead Free Wave Soldering" that can be a good reference. It's
at:
http://www.cooksonee.com/DOCS/White_Papers/EquipmentImpactsofLeadFreeWavesolde
ringAPEX2003BestUSPaper.pdf
And another good resource is at:
http://www.alphametals.com/products/lead_free/tech_art.html
Hope this helps,
