You are SO right, when questioning the thoroughness of testing of boards made in a world where price seems not just the most important thing, but frequently, the ONLY thing that matters.

However, all such questions had to be answered when switching from the old black tank oxide, to the new conveyorized alt oxides, and they can be answered again.. and should be, but someone must be willing to say, "Yes, if the new process passes these tests, I want to look at it...and we do not even get much of that..., sadly."
