While I understand where you are coming from, I do not think a single general
IPC document number would be practical. Which IPC docments do you include:
all specs, guidelines, TMs, training documents, technical reports [not all
documents are in total agreement]; would you give a new Rev. number with every new
document or revision [that means you have to have complete sets for each Rev.
number for legal reasons.
I think lsting the specs individually is the better option.
