Yannick,
Your current stencil vendor, along with your adhesive supplier,
should be able to provide guidelines for successful stencil design and
printing parameters. If you would like some reference material, search
the web for 'adhesive stencil printing'. Here's a couple to get you
started:

Subject: [TN] Adhesive printing

Hi,

Does anybody ever try to print adhesive on a board, we have a
double side board which need to go after SMT in the wave, we must put
some glue on the board to keep the component on the board. And it's
time consuming to get the glue off the board. Now we are thinking to
print adhesive with a stencil. What do I need to do that? what type of
stencil, squeegees, aperture for the component, how much adhesive must I
have on the board, thickness of the stencil, in other wordswhat do I
need to know to do this opertaion.

Thanks you

Yannick
