Hi Guys/Gals of the IPC-LF Listserver,

Well, I am actually replying and asking a NEW question based on a message
stream or tread back in March of 2003 where Brian, Bev, Ca-JoeF, and a few
others joined in and then ended it all with some laughs for all involved.
Go to the archives or maybe to the ipc.org web where they may allow a back
button. I will know if this works after I post and then go back and verify.

I just read a really small article in SMT Magazine about X-Rays.

Section=Articles&Subsection=Display&ARTICLE_ID=188786

If you have a problem with my link, it is in this months issue as a
Feature article.

NOW,

This article says everything is just peachy and picture perfect (aka "ppp")
by just turning down the intensity and some small adjustments when we go to
Lead Free i.e. no Pb(Lead), from an X Ray or X-Ray perspective.

My question is: I recently was at talk where an author told us that the
spectrum of X-Rays that hit/went through the subject was focussed, or
peaked in wavelength, higher on the Pb ingredient.

So Do we have a problem needing more than just some tweaking??
Do we need to change the X-Ray Spectrum's Output Profile.
