Thanks for your reply, which I need to read again, since this entire
subject does have some significant consequences if CA is going in this
direction knowingly or unknowingly.

Do you have an Engineering Degree and how long have you been on what I
guess is the patent side, or maybe the corporate side of the law. I say
patent only because some engineers move into patent law and from past notes
you seem rather good in this area.

I don't ask to belittle your knowledge on this position yet merely to
clarify in my mind your experience and perspectives.

P.S. This CA subject inspite of chemical hormone groping Arnold is
interesting. In Boy Scouting I use to love the attorney's and judges on our
list, yet sometimes their wives weren't happy when I agreed with their
attorney husbands on trademark infringement.
