Hi Bill,
I am a member of the designers counsel here in N.E. Ohio. Here are my honest answers to your questions.

Industry Report Card....

1) What does the IPC Designers Council mean or do for you?
It is not doing any thing right now in N.E. Ohio. I have attended a meeting
in Columbus earlier this year that was more beneficial than any up here.
2) Do you like what it's about?
Here in N.E. Ohio I have only heard of one meeting and don't even remember how
        long ago it was.
3) Do you know what it's about?
It is supposed to be about designers getting together and discussing the
industry I thought and sharing knowledge
4) Have you investigated into it? I am a member.
5) Is it beneficial? Not yet
6) Is it Useless? no
7) A boon to designers or bomb? no opinion
8) What should the IPC Designers council be doing, or not be doing? no opinion
9) Is the CID program useful? Meaningful? How about the Learning Symposiums?
I am a CID certified designer and consider the CID program very useful.
I am attending my first symposium in Nov. down in North Carolina
10)Are the 50 dollar a year dues to high? Low? Or just right? Are the
discounts deep enough? Or on the right things?
The dues are just right, but the discounts could be targeted towards more
        useful things for designers.
